Old Growling Large Antique Vintage Tatty Teddy Bear 1950s. Old Antique Vintage Teddy Bear
Growler is a dear old large vintage antique teddy bear who is roughly 2 foot tall. He has a rounded tummy hes old fellow with an endearing expression.
He has amber and black glass eyes and a hand stitched nose and mouth. Growler is solidly straw filled throughout. He is fully jointed with good joints and long legs and arm, he has a tear in the ear pictured but Im sure someone could easily see back in place.
All over he has a sparse and patchy coverage of cotton plush with visible seams and stitch work. The plush varies in colour from amber coloured to more of a golden honey colour and has some surface marks giving him a bit of an aged or even vintage look.
Growler also has a voice .. although this has aged with him he sometimes makes a growling almost grunting amount from his tummy ! Only when he is hungry !!! He is a endearing old man who looks all of his years but is still full of character. Please not this bear is over 60 years old and has dearly been loved and played with .. He could do with a clean as he is a little dusty from storage ..Any questions welcome Thankyou for looking
