A wonderful bear dating to the 1920’s and was possibly made by German company Bing. (according to the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum who were also it’s former owners.) But you must make up your own mind as there is no button or label.
She has a lot of character and measures around 22″ inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed with wood wool. She has a wonderful shape with long arms, strong muzzle. A bit worn in places but this just adds character. She is also silent.
She is covered in blonde mohair, with stitched facial features and claws, she has felt pads and original glass eyes.

The former owner, the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum, have issued their own certificate for this bear, when the Museum closed in 1994 and exhibits were sold.
It shows the lot number of the Sale, Valuation in 1994 (what I paid), and what the item is and is signed by the owner of the museum confirming that it was a genuine exhibit there and that is their appraisal. This will be supplied with the bear.
I am not a dealer or collector. I purchased 3 bears to display at home, and am now downsizing and they need to find a new home.
