Charming antique Farnell fox terrier dog, believed to be Caesar – King Edward’s dog, dating from 1920s,
made of white and black mohair or wool plush,
stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
unjointed, with wires in limbs, in permanent standing position,
has got original clear and black glass eyes, black vertically stitched nose with nostrils,inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original pads have been recovered with wool fabric some time in the past and are showing general wear,
there’s no claws stitching,inoperative cardboard squeaker can be find at the left side of his body.
Dog is approx. 17″ long and 13 1/2″ tall.
Condition – item is in vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding.
