Jessica | Endearing 1920’s Bing Bear – Old Antique German Teddy with hump & dress
This is Jessica she is an endearing Bing Bear dating to the 1920’s. Jessica is fully jointed, heavily stuffed with woodwool is stands around 20inches tall.Jessica has a lovely long snout which does show a historic repair, her hands pads have been recovered and her feet are mostly original felt. She retains her original painted back glass eyes along with facial stitching and claw stitching. Jessica has a beautiful shape to her with the typical long Bing arms, rear legs seams, large feet and high humped back. Jessica is covered in a cinnamon brown mohair with excellent coverage on her trunk and legs. One of the most adorable things about her is one of her previous owners dressed her up in a beautiful high quality vintage outfit! Jessica travels with her very own embroidered cotton dress, cardigan and delightful old beaded bag. She has clearly worn it a very long time, and it adds to her provenance.Bings are excellent old bears, and make an interesting addition to any hug! She’s pictured here with her friend Teddy Solney (WJ Terry) who’s also available for a new home.
