~ Mrs Betty – Rare Colour- Brown 1900’s Bing Teddy Bear {Old Antique Vintage Hump} ~
This is Mrs Betty – or Betty to her chums. Aah she’s a lovely really pretty little Bing Bear dating to somewhere around early 1900’s to around 1920. Betty’s height makes her a little more special as she’s a smaller sized Bing rather than the larger sizes you often see. She is fully jointed, firmly stuffed with woodwool and stands 13inches tall.
She’s a in lovely condition, having had some loving restoration to her pads but retains her original facial stitching and partial claws along with her original glass eyes. As mentioned she has a beautiful shape to her, seams on the back of her legs – typical of Bing, with a very friendly looking face with a strong snout and excellent hump!!!! She has a very old currently inactive growler and is covered in a warm brown mohair which looks more lovely in real life than photographs.
:-) I’ve left Betty as she is with her pearl necklace, and this shows off her shape nicely, however if you are interested in giving Betty a wonderful home please contact me if you’d like me to show you some outfit options which could be included in the purchase :-)
Betty has seen so many things in life and has clearly been adored. She’s now just longing to find a new home to reside in and tell her tales. She would make a wonderful Christmas present for that special person, and as always
