This lovely bear is looking for someone who can hopefully restore him to his former glory, or as near as possible.
He is 22″ and completely filled with straw, I believe this makes him an early bear, possibly 1930s. He has his original glass eyes, all his nose and mouth stitching is missing.
Five way disc jointed. Holes in paw pads, these have two claw stitches each. His feet are completely missing the pads and are leaking straw, I have put some bootees on him to contain the straw. Missing some filling to top of right leg. Bald areas.
Please study pics for condition etc.
I think he has a lovely face, even without his nose and mouth – he really has character.
