Mimsy | 19″ c1930’s Chiltern Hugmee Teddy
“What a cute loved happy teddy bear. I love her pudgy tum and country ladyted dress!”
This is Mimsy! She is an English ted made by Chiltern in the 1930’s. She measures around 19 inches tall, with all joints working. She has obviously been a hug favourite as she was given her own pretty country style dress – Mims feels very lady like!
She has glass eyes and retains her original pads with no holes, claw and facial stitching. She is stuffed with woodwool and kapok with a lovely pudgy tum! If desired additional stuffing could be added to firm her up, though I find her endearing in her original state. She has been loved and cuddled, and is one of those teds who you know brought joy to others, and is perfect for cuddles!
She enjoys her time outside while she waits, but also looks forward to the day he finds a new owner to make memories with. She’s shown with her husband Ed who is listed separately, along with her hug chums, a couple of which are still available for adoption.
