Buckley | 12″ 1920’s Chiltern Hugmee Teddy
This is Buckley. What a lovely old bear he is! He is an English Chiltern Hugmee Bear dating to the 1920’s.
He is just so utterly adorable, with such a lovely face! He has lost some fur over the years in small patches, but still retains lots of clean dense quality soft toffee coloured mohair as you can see from the photographs.
Buckley is fully jointed, and stuffed with woodwool measuring around 12 inches tall. He retains his original facial and claw stitching, with beautiful original velvet pads, card lined feet, and original painted back glass eyes.
This style of Chiltern is my absolute favourite, so cute!
He wears his very own handmade vintage knitted waistcoat and ribbon which appears to have been with him a long time. He’s now just patiently waiting for a happy new home to settle into.
