A wonderful old monkey called Mavis – guaranteed to make you smile. She dates to the 30’s/40’s and is fully jointed – joints are a little loose but this makes her wonderfully poseable – rest assured she is strong. She is 15 inches tall – 10 inches when sat so a nice size. She has sustained some damage over the years – her hands, feet and ears which appear to be made of leather are a little curled – but she has a relatively good covering of mohair – about 60%. She has the most fabulous and expressive face as you can see and will come wearing her old outfit. She is a real joy and will be appreciated by any of the lovers of great, individual characters xxxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
