This very rare little teddy bear measuring approximately 4″ was made by Joy Toys in Australia during the 1930s. Unjointed apart from jointed head.
He is in very good condition – just some wear to his mohair where he has been held over the years on his legs and chest.
Black boot button glass eyes and original black stitched nose and mouth. He is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and soft kapok stuffing. Wire inside teddy to help teddy “stand up” – small piece showing just underneath neck joint.
Lovely little rare Joy Toy teddy bear – highly collectable.
