Barnaby is a lovely old character bear – he has a fabulous face and just oozes character – I love his quirky enigmatic Mona Lisa smile :-) Barnaby is 22 inches tall and completely straw stuffed. He is fully jointed – one arm joint is secure but loose – it is all intact but as with all of the old bears he needs to be handled with love. He has a still good covering of mohair – he would benefit from a surface wash – but is not at all smelly or unappealing. As you can see his pads are the original rexine with a little wear but all intact and he has one chipped glass eye – I like this as it is – it is part of Barnaby’s character. Barnaby will come as pictured and really is as lovely as he looks – he would look wonderful in an old sailor suit or romper. UK posting only due to size and weight xxxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
