Loved but sweet 1950’s Chiltern mohair teddy bear.
Meet ‘Charleston’ a sweet looking Chiltern mohair bear dating to circa 1950’s. Charleston stands at 16″ tall and he is five ways jointed so he can be nicelyposed and is stuffed with kapok in his body and wood wool in his head.
He has been loved but is still in good, sturdy condition with all of his originalfeatures intact, including his amber and black glass eyes. He has lost a fair
amount of the blonde mohair plush on his front and with overall thinning andlarge bare areas although he has a better coverage on his back and I wouldestimate he has retained approximately 40% coverage overall.
His rexine pads are good, with some surface rubbing but no holes or repairs
and he has a press squeaker in his tummy which no longer works. Despite his
loved condition Charleston is sweet looking bear with a lovely expressive face and would make a nice addition to any hug.
This Chiltern character bear is being offered with a very low starting price and no reserve to the highest bidder.
