Mabel is a gorgeous old Merrythought bear – full of charm – AND she retains her celluloid button in her back! She is just 12 inches tall, fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. Her pads are the original linen – the label is missing from her foot but the outline can be seen – & it looks like a child has drawn feintly on the hand pads. She has lost a lot of mohair & is largely threadbare with patches. She has what looks to be replacement nose & mouth stitching & eyes & one of her ears has been reattached – she wears a very worried expression! She will come as pictured in her old knitted dress & bonnet & is in search of her forever home – can you help???
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I will happily ship overseas but anything over 40 must be tracked & insured xxx
