~ Lipstick – 1930’s English Teddy
This is Lipstick, he is an English Bear made in the 1930’s. He was possibly made by Chad Valley.
He stands around 11inches tall, is fully jointed stuffed with kapok. He’s all original with glass eyes, stitched facial features, big ears, original pads and a very cute high pitched working squeaker!
This little ted has gained the name lipstick as he has little pink marks on him, which quite likely is lipstick, he wears these marks with pride as they are the story of his life. Lipstick also has his old knitted scarf which keeps him cosy.
Lipstick is very playful, and he’s seen here messing around with his bear-st friend Todrick, who is also looking for a happy home.
