Pearl-Stunning RARE 1930s Peacock Teddy Bear – Antique Old English (Chad Valley)Ahh this special lady is Pearl the Peacock teddy. She’s delightful. She’s a rare teddy bear as Peacocks are fairly few and far between. Pearl must have had a delightful life as her mohair is in pretty tip-top condition.She dates to the 1930’s. She stands around 27inches tall, is 5 way fully jointed and stuffed with kapok and woodwool. She has amber glass eyes, recovered handpads and original cotton twill foot pads. She has a slightly working squeaker, original facial, hand and foot claw stitching (complete on one paw & feet).As mentioned earlier her mohair is in wonderful condition on front and back. She will travel to her new home in her antique silk dress & peacock blue ribbon.Pearl is now waiting patiently dreaming of a wonderful new owner who has a special little spot for her to sit in and create more memories – maybe even turn 100 with? Could you be her special new friend?
