Imelda is a lovely old lady – a 1940’s/50’s bear – she has a “made in” label to her back but the location is missing – either England or Ireland. She is 15 inches tall, fully jointed & a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed. Her pads are the original velvet. She has a patchy covering of mohair – about 30-40% – & some of her fabric has darkened with age – I quite like it as it gives her more of an aged look. She has a lovely quirky smile & will come as pictured in her dress & bow. A lovely old bear in need of a home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are wonderful characters. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
