Vintage character mohair teddy bear of British origin, dating from 1940s-1950s
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with sub throughout the body and head, wood-wool in the muzzle,
four ways jointed, head fixed,
has got orange and black early plastic eyes,original vertically stitched nose, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original rexine pads in quite good condition with some general wear, but no holes,
there’s no claws stitching,
has got inoperative cardboard squeaker in his tummy,wears antique collar.
Teddy Bear is approx. 14 1/2″ (37 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in well loved vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding, small repair to the tummy and few seam repairs.
