Very cute antique British character teddy bear, dating from 1940s,
made of gold mohair, feels to be stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original orange and black glass eyes,original black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original well loved oil cloth pads have been recovered with another matching oil cloth many years ago, there’s no claws stitching,
inoperative cardboard squeaker in the chest.
Teddy Bear is approx. 14″ (36 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in well loved vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding; joints are fine.
