A cute-faced, original small Steiff Bully dog dating to the c.1930s.
Little Bully dog here is stuffed with woodwool and has a swivel head. He measures just 11 cms (4 1/2 “) high, including ears and is a size that is not commonly found.
His ears and legs are internally wired and his little eyes are made of glass with orange painted backs, however his left eye is a later back painted replacement but compliments and matches his original eye quite perfectly in our opinion and it really is quite hard to detect a difference .
He has retained his original black embroidered nose which is in good condition .
His velvet muzzle is in good condition and little Bully has a pretty good coverage all over of short black & cream coloured mohair with just some a tiny little bareness just visible to the top of his ears at the tip and end of this tail , but this is really nothing serious , detrimental or realy noticeable
Over the years his cream coloured mohair has age darkened a little but he is over 80 years old so he can be forgiven for this.
We have tied a little ribbon threaded with some tiny festive little bells around his neck so he is perfect for Christmas giving!
