Flora – Old Antique Mohair Chad Valley Teddy Bear with BUTTON in Vintage Clothes
Flora is a special teddy! She’s one for the lovely collectors who enjoy the teds who have lived and been loved PLUS she has a lovely additional feature (button!!!) :-) She’s fully jointed, stands around 13.5inches tall, and stuffed with woodwool and kapok. Her pads have been recovered a long while back in a really very pretty antique floral cotton and I believe her claws are original. She has glass eyes with stitched nose and mouth. Ahh Flora has been loved and repaired along with way but I feel this is endearing and adds to her provenance. As mentioned earlier Flora retains her 1930 Chad Valley button in her ear. She will travel to her new home in her vintage handmade dress.Flora has been known to have a potter in the garden. but now the inclement weather is coming she is now searching a cosy spot where she can settle down and create new memories.
