Arthur & Martha ~ TWO x Old Antique Chad Valley Mohair Teddy Bear in clothes
Nawww .. I love Arthur & Martha! They are a couple of 1940s/50s Chad Valley Teddy Bear love birds!
They have been loved by the owner over the years, and enjoyed many a special moment i’m sure.
They both stand around 16inches tall, are fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool and kapok. They both have facial stitching and glass eyes.
Martha has felt pads (and her label may very well be under her felt pads – I haven’t looked) and Arthur has rexine pads with remains of a label, with some wear due to grappling with / defending himself from Martha for so many years!!!!
They like to snuggle and love their matching knitwear, therefore plan to ensure they travel in their outifts.
They enjoy spending their time cuddling, or playing games with each other and enjoying life, do you have a happy space in your home for a couple of teddy love birds?
