Early English Mohair Teddy Bear 1920s. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. A gorgeous large 2359cm,golden mohair, straw and kapok filled! Very reminiscent of early Farnell bears, with enormous bat ears shaved muzzle,very long arms 11, long legs big feet,10 1/2. Original pads to feet with over stitched claws. Replacement pads on paws! The eyes seem original, they are small to my mind, and the nose stitching is all original,I think, longer stitching on the edge.The fur is excellent for age , probably 90%. He has a large hump at the back. His fur is thick, he is a beautiful ted!! Only selling as I have to clear a lot of my collection out now, husband insists!! Im obsessed apparently. Unfortunately after 45 years of collecting I do have a few!! If he sells abroad , you will need insurance, please ask for postage quote before bidding! This one came to me in bits and has taken a few years to put him back together. I have re-stitched over his paw pads to match his feet! The bit on his fur is original so theres only a tiny bit of restorative black on the new pads! Hope that makes sense , any questions please ask!! He has an intermittent growl still.
