Trevor – Antique Old 1920s Early English Mohair Teddy Bear
Trevor is an exceptionally cute, plumb little early 1920s English, teddy bear.
He stands around 14 inches tall and has all original stitching, including a Chad Valley Magna type horizontal nose, and three claws on each felt pad – his feet are pointed, like the Chad Valley Smiler bears. His small glass eyes are clear with painted backs and are well secured.
Trevor has a clunky old growler that rattles around most of the time but also grunts a bit as well. His mohair is in excellent condition with just one tiny patch of loss at the top of his right arm.As you can see in the photos, his mohair is a lovely blonde colour and he’s a very study little bear – almost solid.All in all, he’s a cracking little bear who would look great with either on his own or with a larger collection.
