MorrisEarly American Ideal bear c1907Almost identical to the bear donated to the Smithsonian institute by Ideal as a representation of the first bear created by Ideal
Morris is 18″ with lovely apricot hue mohair in super original condition. He has rust coloured horizontal nose stitching and claws with original felt pads and boot button eyes. He is solidly stuffed with wood wool and has a non working side squeaker. He retains at least 80% of his mohair with only a few small sparse areas. He has a prominent hump and all joints move freely. A superb example of an early American bear.
