A lovely old tipped mohair dog on wooden wheels, possibly French c.1930s. Called Rolo, he has a swivel head and is stuffed with woodwool. He’s all original, including his neck ribbon which is attached to him, and he measures 18 cms (7″) high, and 21 cms (8″) long from nose to tail.
Rolo has back-painted amber glass eyes, and felt-lined ears, plus a cute little goaty-type beard. His nose and mouth are embroidered in black thread. There’s some thinning to his fur, but overall he’s in good condition, and has the most wonderful dog-day expression! Rolo makes a great display character for smaller teds to sit on his back.
