This vintage teddy bear was made during the 1940s, possibly by Chad Valley Co or by Chiltern.
Lovely condition for age – please see photos.
He is fully jointed, although head has been sewn to body (please see photo), all other joints are nice and tight.
He is made from a sparse gold coloured mohair – some small balding patches here and there and is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing.
He has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
Original brown rexine pads – no holes or tears.
He still has his original orange/black glass eyes and his original black stitched nose and mouth.
Measures approximately 17″ in height.
