Very early vintage teddy bear, possibly a Deans Ragbook teddy bear made during the 1920s/1930s in need of tlc! – Please see photos for condition. He has large hole in his chest also – wood wool is visible.
When he is tilted, you can hear the rattles of his non working growler.
He has a rather protruding snout – has lost his original glass eyes and stitched nose and mouth.
He has the remains of his black claws. He has lost stuffing from tops of arms and right leg is shorter than left!
He is fully jointed – all a bit loose – he is filled completely with wood wool.
He measures approximately 18″ in height.
Once restored, teddy will be a lovely example of a very early 20th century teddy bear!!
