Babar the Elephant – 1920’s/30’s – Rare Old Antique Teddy Bear friend
This is Babar the Elephant. He was made in the 1920/30’s as is designed on the lead character from the series Babar. It was a much loved cartoon so the toy softs were enjoyed very much, however due to the passing of time not many of the elephants are commonly found today.
He measures around 11inches tall, is completely stuffed with woodwool with card lined feet, with a fitted cotton & felt outfit body and original glass eyes.
He is a wonderful, interesting elephant with an adorable look, and would make a perfect addition to a home of Babar, Elephant or old bear collector.
