PRETTY MINIATURE ANTIQUE SCHUCO PICCOLO TEDDY BEAR 4″ C1920’S.
This charming little German Schuco ‘Piccolo’ teddy bear dates from the 1920’s and measures approximately 4 inches in height. He is made of dark golden coloured mohair over a metal body, head and limbs. He is jointed at head and limbs, with all joints still in good working order. He has his original teeny tiny little black metal eyes and original black stitched nose and mouth . . . as can be seen in the listing photo’s he has a minute rub to the mohair at the tip of his nose (immediately next to his nose stitching) which in my opinion only adds to his charm, giving the appearance of a tiny koala bear! His mohair has no other rubs, wear or loss at all and is in very good clean condition. He is an extremely clean little bear with no musty or dusty odours of any sort. His vintage blue silk neck ribbon is not original to him but is included in the sale.
Apart from the tiny surface rub to his nose he has no other age related issues and is in very good condition.
He displays beautifully in the tiniest of spaces, and is extremely sweet.
