Lovely little 12inch Steiff, I think around 1930s teddy bear. Little button with long f. Quite bald all over, but remaining mohair is secure and clean and is very pale in colour. Paw pads all original felt with neat insert repairs in three. All claw stitching is brown and some are not original. Nose and mouth stitching is very pale brown, some stitching on nose is replaced and all the mouth is replaced. Hard stuffed throughout, with some stuffing settled in arms. Neat insert repairs on either side of snout. Squeeze box style growler, not working. One ear was probably sucked a lot so is a bit darker with some stitching repairs. All joints work well, bit of stuffing missing at top of neck so head sags a bit to one side but gives the little bear an appealing look. An overall gorgeous little Steiff bear with loving wear that adds to her character and appeal. She comes with a lovely little out fit that suites her perfectly.
