HumphreyDarling old Chad valley teddy bear,Magna series.Dating circa 1930 this handsome old boy measures 19″Five way jointed with head ever so slightly floppy but stable.Glass eyes, with one a possible old replacement.Original stitched nose and mouth intact.Head filled with wood wool and body is mostly filled with kapok with an old coil squeaker in tummy that is tired out from too many squeaks..There are various repairs including to front seam and arm which have been stitched up,with evidence of a little addition of filling in left arm ( old colored wool) which has been poking through.Replaced pads which are basic but neat and his red label still attached.Most claw stitching intact.Humphrey is a wonderful old character whose face is full of old bear charm and stories from far and wide.These days its a quiet corner and his dressing gown…Any questions please ask..from non smoking home.Any questions please ask..Please note the toy box is not included in the sale.
