Adorable antique German Steiff teddy bear, dating from 1900s-1910s,
made of blonde mohair,
hard stuffed with excelsior throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got boot-button eyes,horizontal nose stitching, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original felt pads with repairs,
four claws stitching to all limbs with some claws worn,
hump,inoperative squeaker in his chest,final seam runs to the front,button missing.
Teddy Bear is approx. 13″ (33 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in good antique condition with slight general wear, thinning, right ear is possibly replacement; joints are fine, head joint a bit stiff; stuffing sagging in the upper part of arms.
