Very cute and pretty rare to find antique Chad Valley teddy bear with pressure operated musical box, dating from 1930s,
bearing original IDs- celluloid button to the right ear and white red woven label to the right foot pad,
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
has got large dark orange and black glass eyes,pronounced clipped muzzle,
original vertically stitched nose, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original felt pads to all limbs with some general wear and repairs,
five claws stitching to feet, four claws to paws (one claw worn out),
hump, wears antique silk dress with laces.
Teddy Bear is approx. 20″ (51 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in antique condition with general wear, thinning and balding.
