A super cute, musical Merrythought bear with footlabel c.1960s. Made of ‘London Gold’ synthetic plush, he measures 43 cms (17″) tall. Soft-stuffed and fully-jointed, his features are all original, including amber glass eyes, and a black-embroidered nose and mouth. Teddy’s pads are brown-knitted brushed fabric, and in good condition. When the keywinder is turned in his back, he plays a tinkling lullaby. There’s some loss of fur in this area, and a pinkish tinge – possibly dye from his red jumper. Overall, though, he’s a bonny bear, also wearing a chunky fringed handknitted scarf. Thanks for looking.
