Hello fellow EbayersInteresting old MonkeyHis arms move when wound up ( occasionally need a little encouragement to get going, but I have not tried fully winding) . the movement and his posture is almost like he is a male gorilla doing a threat display, rather than a dance or anything ! I am not sure if this was the toy makers intention !I think he has a tin plate body, but without invasive investiagtion I am not sure. He has a hair finish like an old bear with glass eyes and a felt features.Overall he is in good condition, All the felt is very good, the hair is a worn in places. small stain one hand.He’s a charming chap and is about 32cm in lengthI think he is most likey to be Pre-war rather than early post-war , probably dating from the 1930’s.
