1950’s Mohair Teddy Bear 24inches tall. Could be Pedigree, no label found, rounded feet and paws in Rexine, led me to this suggestion. Jointed with faint growler still sounding if you pat his back firmly. Glass eyes.
In very good condition for age with very little wear to the mohair. Rexine pads are shown in close up so you can see they have worn, but no holes. Ears are firmly attached. Growler works, just, with a hard tap on the back. Dark stitching up the back seam, may be a repair, shown in photo.Just noticed a repair and stitches on one leg. New photo added.
Surface is dusty with age. No nasty stains or holes.
One owner from new, purchased at local Colchester auction. Owner did ask me to look after her Bear, but did not leave any other details.
