This is a very cute toy dog from the late 1940s (poss early 50s) – he has mohair fur, beady glass eyes and a little pink tongue – his nose is missing and there is wear to the mohair – such a lovely thing. Did have some sort of label to the bottom of his back right hand leg, there are remains of a tag with a bit of red on it. I don’t think this is a Steiff or a Chad Valley but could be wrong. He measures 22cm long including tail, 19cm tall including ears and 7cm wide.
