A lovely antique/vintage 1940s mohair and straw filled teddy bear measuring 23 inches long when laid down flat. The bear has articulated arms and legs and head which moves around with inner discs. The eyes are glass and the mouth and nose are stitched. He retains some of his original mohair covering but he has been well loved and therefore does show signs of wear. The feet have worn exposing the straw, however the straw is not loose and is still secure within each foot. One arm has lost some straw filling and somebody has made a simple stitched repair to this arm. Some loss of mohair in places but this really is a lovely antique bear which deserves a good home. He is ideal to display and he has lots of charm.
