Adorable antique Merrythought Hygienic Toys teddy bear, dating from 1930s
bearing original woven label to the right foot and celluloid button,
made of golden mohair,
stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original dark amber and black glass eyes,pronounced clipped muzzle,
black vertically stitched nose with outer stitches pointing down, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original felt pads in good condition with slight general wear,
four webbed claws stitching to paws, three claws stitching to foot,
couple claws loose on the right foot pad,
inoperative squeaker in his tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 13″ tall.
Condition – item is in good antique condition with slight general wear and thinning, minor balding spot around the squeaker, joints are fine.
