What can I tell you about the very handsome Monty, well he’s is a wonderful antique Steiff teddy bear with a very happy face c1910 measuring 18″ with ff button in ear he has around 60% of his blonde golden mohair remaining. His eyes are black glass which was a special order item from Steiff used for a very short period. Monty’s paws and pads have been neatly recovered at some point. Nose and mouth stitching are original he’s stuffed with wood wool with a partially working growler from the knees down Monty has lost his mohair which can be seen in pictures.
