This lovely lady is Thomasina Jones. If you don’t mind Teddies with wear, but adore a Teddy who has lived 100 years and has seen so many family and happy times .. she is the ted for you! She was made in the very early 1900’s by the German Company Steiff. She is is fully jointed, stuffed completely with woodwool and stands around 11 inches tall.She is pretty bald and has had various patches lovingly attached to her (including a sheepskin patch to her chest!), original boot button eyes and she retains her original button in her ear (with the elongated f). She is an elderly lady now having totted up around 110 years on this little planet, which is why she has been patched up so lovingly by previous owners. I actually think that her patches add to her appeal as its almost like her journal of previous owners looking after her :-)She likes to have a nice sit in the garden and relax in her pretty dress, and when the weather turns pop her bonnet up. Thomasina also likes to catch up with her good friend Mrs Wimpory and while away the hours talking about the past.What I adore about Thomasina is to think of all that she has seen in this life, she has somehow lived through 2 world wars, various house moves and possibly different families and yet she is still here today waiting for a new special person to call her own.She will travel to her new home in her dress & bonnet.The photographs form part of the description so please look at them carefully.
