This is Wilbur who is simply FABULOUS! He is an early Chad Valley bear – 1920’s/30’s – and retains his ear button. Wilbur is 19 inches tall and fully jointed – his arm joints are quite stiff but they do rotate fully. He is largely kapok stuffed with woodwool to his muzzle. He has a patchy covering of mohair but has lost a lot of it and his pads are tatty but all intact and serviceable – they are original with card to the feet so I love them as they are. He has an adorable face with glass eyes on wires – they are old and look slightly mismatched – he has also had a lot of kisses to his nose. I love Wilbur exactly as he is – he is so full of character – and he will arrive in his old sailor romper plus accessories

Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
