A beautiful old Chad Valley bear dating to the 20’s/30’s – he has his old Hygienic Toys button in ear although it is a little worn – still something to be proud of! He is 16 inches tall, fully jointed and largely kapok stuffed with woodwool to his muzzle. He has a non-working squeaker and is mostly threadbare. His pads have all been covered and he has the lovely fat paws of the early Chads. His eyes are replacement glass on wires. He is a wonderful old ted who looks fabulous in his old hand-knit sailor suit xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
