This is Carly the cat. I am no toy expert but would guess she dates from around 1950s/1960. There are no makers marks.
Carly is a grey cat with a fur fabric head with google eyes and a red stitched nose. The body is a velvet feel fabric . She is quite grubby and needs a good clean up. There has been a repair inside the legs but this has been done very badly and I am sure someone will be able to do a better job. Carly has a fur fabric tail. She is wearing a hand knitted suit but this is also quite grubby and needs some repairs.
She stands 14 inches tall.
is worn and damaged – but I hope someone can rescue her.
