This is a vintage muff made for a child in yellow ‘art silk’ . As far as I know this kind of material was made in the 1930s up to the 1960s and this little bear has amber glass eyes too which often dates it to before the 1950s. He measures roughly 8″ across and 7″ from head to bottom of the muff. He is lined with a silky material which has some water marks on it and it looks like the ribbon has been renewed but this was done quite some time ago with an old ribbon.
