Meet Lucky, a sweet old vintage teddy bear, who is 14 tall. He was sold to me as a Farnell bear, from the 1920s, but he doesnt have any labels to identify him for sure. He is, though, obviously very old. He has some mohair remaining, mostly on his legs and parts of his head. His tummy is quite bald and almost all the stuffing in his body and legs has sagged or gone, so he doesnt sit up too well. He has patches on his nose – presumably where there were big holes – and his nose and mouth have been re-stitched. His foot pads are original and he has 4 claws remaining on each foot. His legs are still quite well-stuffed and his head is still solidly stuffed. He has clear glass eyes, which look like theyre original. He had a squeaker in his tummy which no longer works, but you can feel the large spring as he doesnt have much stuffing around it. He is jointed – arms and legs moving OK, but his head has been sewn in place. His little hand-knitted cable jumper looks like its almost as old as he is! Lucky is a very elderly but charming gentleman who is looking for a new home. Really sorry, will only post within the UK.
