Meet Rufus, a gorgeous furry Chiltern Hugmee from the 1950s. He is just over 24 tall and quite a chubby chap. He has only a little wear to his lovely pale gold mohair – around his mouth and the edges of his paws, and his fur needs a bit of a brush where its a little flattened in places. He has all original nose and mouth stitching and his amber plastic eyes are original, too, with just a tiny scratch on one (see pic). His head is firmly stuffed with wood wool and his body is stuffed with something softer and more cuddly. He has a working squeaker in his tummy. He has all original claw stitching and original velvet paw pads on his upper paws. His foot pads have been replaced with brown felt, but its possible the original ones are still underneath and just need a bit of care – I havent taken the felt off to check, so cant be sure. He is fully jointed and all are moving smoothly. Rufus is a lovely big Hugmee who is looking for a new home.Really sorry, will only post within the UK – no international postage. He is a big bear and the postage amount reflects that and the need to insure the parcel. If its any less than Ive said on the listing, then I will refund the difference.
