Vintage character teddy bear of Continental origin, dating from late 1930s
made of brown cotton plush, stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
original clear and black early plastic eyes with orange backs,pronounced muzzle with open mouth, which is lined with velvet,
nose is marked with one horizontal stitch, in the corners of the mouth there is black thread stitching,ears lined with pale brown plush,
original plush pads in fair condition with some general wear,
there’s no claws stitching,
bear wears green velvet trousers and checked shirt.
Approx. 11″ (28 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in vintage condition with some general wear, thinning and balding spots.
