Very nice vintage Chiltern Hugmee teddy bear, dating from 1940s,
made of gold mohair, stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
original dark orange and black glass eyes,black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original painted cloth pads in good condition with minor general wear,
no claws stitching,
has got inoperative squeaker in a tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 16″ (41 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in very good original vintage condition with very slight general wear and thinning, joints are fine.
