Adorable vintage Merrythought Cheeky teddy bear, quite rare to find as it dates from first years of production, early 1960s,
made of beige art silk with some discolouration and darkening spots,
stuffed with kapok throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
has got original dark amber and black glass eyes,insert velvet muzzle in well loved condition,
original black vertically stitched nose, inverted W shape smiling mouth stitching,
original brown felt pads to paws and feet,left foot pad rather loved,
three claws stitching to each limb, with couple claws being worn out on the left foot,there are remains of stitching on the left foot pad where original Registered Design label would be,
bells in the ears.
Teddy Bear is approx. 12″ (31 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in original vintage condition with some general wear, discolouration.
